Money

How much is a cold plunge pool?

A built-in round pool is indicatively €8,400–15,000 and a square one €9,400–17,000, with the chiller and filtration inside the range. A hot-and-cold pair is €18,000–32,000. See the price list.

How much is a glass sauna?

€7,100–9,700 for two seats, €9,700–14,000 for four and €18,500–26,000 for eight, with a Harvia heater and basic installation. Glass and larger sizes move the number; the layout fixes it.

Do the prices include VAT?

No. The ranges are before VAT and import duties, which the quote itemises for your country.

Do you offer finance?

Not as such. Payment is in three instalments, 40 / 40 / 20, and the last one waits for the signed temperature test. For a phased build, ask how the stages would be priced.

Weeks, crates and the first session

How long does the 3D layout take?

Up to five working days from the moment we have your photos and rough dimensions.

How long from deposit to first session?

Six to ten weeks in the workshop, then delivery to your address, then up to seven days of assembly on site. Delivery depends on the route and is quoted in the layout.

Do you build in the winter?

We build all year; the question is the site. Outdoor work needs dry days for the base and the roof, and in the Atlantic regions we plan around them.

Heat, water and what the owner looks after

Will the pool stay cold in a 40 °C summer?

Yes, when the chiller is sized for it. The machine is chosen by litres and designed for 38–40 °C air in the Mediterranean. See chiller systems.

How long does a sauna take to heat?

About 40 minutes to working temperature, which is 90–110 °C. A glass cabin gets the heater step the glass needs.

How is the water kept clean?

By filtration sized to the pool, with disinfection chosen for the use. A private pool is a lighter job than a hotel one: see hygiene for commercial plunge pools.

How much power does it use?

A 6 kW heater draws about 26 A at 230 V while it heats; a 4 HP chiller about 16 A while it runs. The layout lists the loads, and villa mains or three-phase explains what to ask your electrician.

Town halls, permits and papers

Do I need permission for an outdoor sauna or a plunge pool?

It depends on the country, the region and the municipality. We list what we could verify in permits compared and the questions to ask your town hall.

Do you provide the CE paperwork?

Ask us which declarations of conformity apply to each electrical item in your quote, and ask for them before you pay the second instalment. The list goes into the quote.

Can I let a property that has a sauna and a plunge pool?

Yes. Registration rules for holiday lets differ by country and are changing: see holiday lets.

Two years of cover, and a fault far from the workshop

What does the warranty cover?

Everything we build is covered for two years, with assisted service visits during the first year.

What happens if something fails far from the workshop?

We diagnose by photo and video first, send parts if that is enough and arrange a visit where it is not. We say which applies to your address before you sign.

How the cabin and the pool are drawn

Can the cabin be outdoors?

Yes. An outdoor cabin is built like a small house, with a membrane roof, ventilated cladding and a drained base. See garden saunas.

Do you build steam rooms or hammams?

Yes, as a tiled or mosaic hammam with its own steam generator, for homes and for hotels, gyms and clinics. It is a wet room and is waterproofed like one, so it is drawn apart from the sauna.

Can I have infrared panels?

On request, as an extra panel in a cabin. See Finnish or infrared for a villa.

Is a plunge pool safe to use every day?

Whether cold water every day suits you is a question for your doctor. The equipment is built for long duty, up to 16 hours a day.

Crates on hillsides, islands and lanes

How do the crates reach a hillside or an island?

By sea to a port, then by road, ferry, crane or hand-carry. We ask for the width of the lane and the lift in the first message and plan the route in the layout.

Who installs it?

Installation on site is part of every quote, up to seven days. We tell you in writing how it is staffed at your address.

Do you ship to the islands?

Yes, the Balearics, the Canaries, Madeira and Greek and Croatian islands, with the ferry and the lead time written into the layout.
